Digging Deep

T-Minus 10 days in my mustache fundraiser.

And still five projects to fund!

I've been waking up early before work to send off fundraising emails. And ending my night doing the same thing. I've even shaved my stache toward a pencil-thin variety. It's a lean, mean fundraising machine!

The hard work is for good reason. Each of these 5 projects buys specific classroom materials for hard-working Oakland students. From a book library for second graders to novels for at-risk high schoolers, these materials WILL make a difference!

Want to see for yourself? Check out this video about the main school that I'm supporting called Think College Now. It will inspire.

In this stretch between Thanksgiving and the December holidays, what a better time to demonstrate generosity? Please pitch in and join something remarkable!

Contributing only takes three minutes and is entirely painless. And you can select which classroom materials you want to help buy.

Please click on my mustache giving page and help us make the magic happen! Thank you!

Mustache Gobble Gobble!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend good people.

Greetings from the Michigan woods. Here I am with my Dad, who's sporting a nice mustache and goatee himself.

I can literally feel my mustache growing just an hour after applying a homemade turkey and gravy conditioner on the whiskers. Makes the stache smell good too!

We all have so much to be thankful for. Family, friends, health, prosperity, and so much more.
Not everyone does though. It's the perfect time to recognize our good fortune and give back to help others less fortunate.

And that's where Mustaches for Kids comes in. I'm once again raising funds for elementary school classroom supplies and that amazing Think College Now in the Fruitvale neighborhood of Oakland.

Can you rub nickles together to help some great elementary school kids this season? Please help out if you can! You can donate to the classroom supplies of your choice on this link. It takes just about 3 minutes but the good feelings of generosity and compassion last all year.

Thank you on behalf of the students and happy turkey eating!

Citizen Mustache Needs Your Vote!

Good people, fellow citizens!

Gather around, and please listen up... The next few weeks is a time like no other. A moment of change and progress. A chance to do your patriotic duty. For the future of the children!

A political speech you ask? A lot of red, white and blue mumbo jumbo?

Absolutely not. This is the real deal. A chance to vote for education and opportunity for all kids. To demonstrate that amidst a lot of bad news, we can make good news.

Join the movement, make your voice heard! Please support my participation in Mustaches for Kids for elementary school classroom supplies.

I'm raising funds to classroom supplies at Think College Now, the amazing elementary school in the Fruitvale neighborhood of Oakland. The funds go directly to classroom supplies for specific classrooms. You get to pick what project to fund and even get letters from the kids letting you know once the supplies arrive.

You can donate to the classroom supplies of your choice on this link. It takes just about 3 minutes but the good feelings of generosity and compassion last all year.

Help me close the deal and give these kids so what they need to succeed!

It's baaaack!

My mustache is back and hard at work! Called into service for some deserving kids in Oakland.

It's my fourth year raising funds through Mustaches for Kids for elementary school classroom supplies. Truth be told, after last year me and my trusty lip mane were weary of fundraising and ready to sail off quietly into the sunset.

But the wonderful staff of Think College Now, the amazing elementary school in the Fruitvale neighborhood of Oakland, got back in touch with me. "You and your friends made a huge difference in our school last year" they told me. "The over $7,000 you guys raised was felt by almost every kid in the school."

Well that got me fired up. And inspired. Why not don a creepy mustache for another month and ask friends to join me in making a difference in a local kid's education? We've got it in us, right?

So I'm back. And more importantly so is that little black whiskered buddy of mine.

Ready to join together and do this? You can donate to the classroom supplies of your choice on this link. It takes just about 3 minutes but the good feelings of generosity and compassion last all year.

Thank you on behalf of the students!
